This is the year (2006 rules for this project)

We've passed the midway point on submitted tracks we can use. Over this week, I'm going to write a bit about some of the wonderful tracks we've received since the December update. However, I've decided not to post the files themselves anymore. More than one-third of the songs in the final project have been posted here already; they should give readers a sense of what the final Sandinista Project will sound like. This is a charity project, as some of you may remember (scroll all the way down to the first post for a refresher), so we want people to actually buy the final product when it comes out later this year. I'm sorry if the next few months of postings feel like teases, but we need to do it this way going forward.
